Lion/ Movie review

Saroo, a child who lives in India, gets lost at a train station at night, the only thing he can do is get on a deserted train. Suddenly the train starts to move and he gets stuck on it for days, when the train stops he is miles from home, trying to find his way back he gets adopted, 25 years later his search begins again as he struggles to find his real family.

I personally loved this movie, it was beautiful and emotional. It was also up for best picture. I would definatly spend my time watching this movie. I recommend this movie totally, for a family and adults.

One Crazy Summer/ Book Review

Delphine, Vonetta, and Fern set off for an adventure in Oakland, California , during  the year of 1968 to visit their mother that had abandoned them and their father when Fern was a baby. Thinking that their mother is crazy they try to figure out if  she’s hiding a secret while learning that their mother isn’t so bad after the kids stay with her after a while.

I think that One Crazy Summer gives a beautiful example of how people felt back then, they made it  clear on what they believe in and made me feel as if i was standing there agreeing with them or disagreeing with them. It was a beautiful book.

Stars: 4 out of 5 stars.
